Lazy joy

Hello world.

Alas it seems even night-time lovers such as myself can and do need sleep. That sucks major eggs.

What is it about procrastination that is so enjoyable?

Scrap that (for now). Who the monkeys came up with the word procrastination? That is one hell of a mouthful of english. I mean they could have just stopped at the Pro bit but noooooo they had to go and add a whole bunch of stuff to it.

One of the benefits of being bi-lingual is to see the differences in languages and the way that a language says a whole lot about the culture in its entirety.

In my native african tongue, words like procrastination simply do not exist. There is simply no need for such a word and as such the word simply was not created. Of course there are lazy people in my part of the country and there are people who do er..procrastinate but in my language we'd just say that they put things off a lot or that they are lazy etc. Weird huh?

Anyways back to my point. It is such a joyous thing - albeit temporarily - to put things off for another time. Plates need washing? do it later says the voice in your head. Clothes need washing? do it later says the voice again. Each time a part of you rejoices in the 5/10 mins that have been saved for other more important stuff like er...doing nothing. Still life's all about simple pleasures eh.

I have been procrastinating with regards a task that has to be done. I have successfully put it off for a few days now however i must do it as one of the possible downsides of not ever doing this task is jailtime. The joys of trying to run your own business.

As the company is still in its fledgling stage, i have no minions to accomplish this task for their overlord - me.

Still, in time i shall achieve the status of overlord and will have amassed countless minions by then. When i do, i shall launch a spectacular yet cunning plan to take over the world....Mwa-hahahahahah Mwa-hahahahaha.

I'll stop now.

Must file papers with companies House tomorrow - sadly without the aid of minions.
